The Lincoln County Genealogical Society is a
non-profit society,charted under the laws of the State of Tennessee,for the purpose of preserving and recording family histories and all vital records, providing a genealogical library of Lincoln County,the State of Tennessee and surrounding counties for genealogical research.The Society is supported solely from membership dues,contributions,and sales from the Lincoln County Pioneers.The Lincoln Lineage and other miscellaneous genealogical publications.

The Society building is scheduled to be open every weekend from 1:00 to 5:00 PM,providing that volunteers are available,and will be closed for holidays and inclement weather.

Out of town researchers who arrive during the week may call one of our volunteers (see Directors and Officers) and every effort will be made to open the society building with at least seven days notice of arrival date.
